BisLingo: Corporate Lingo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application BisLingo: Corporate Lingo ("the Application") developed and published by Mahesh Venu. The Application is provided free of charge on Google Play and is offered "AS IS" without any warranties of any kind.

Purpose of the Application

The Application is designed to help users learn, discover, and collect various corporate jargon terms, their meanings, and usage examples. Users can explore jargon by categories and receive a daily notification highlighting a new jargon.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not collect any personally identifiable information.
All data related to the user's interaction with jargons is stored locally on the user’s device.

The app handles the following data:

  • Jargons viewed by the user.

  • Jargons saved by the user into their personal collection.

No external transmission of data occurs. The Application does not connect to external servers for data storage or processing.

Permissions Used

To deliver its core features, the Application requests the following permissions:

  • INTERNET: Required to load advertisements via Google AdMob.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send daily jargon notifications.

  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM / SET_ALARM: To schedule notifications precisely.

  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To reschedule notifications after the device is restarted.

  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE: For background handling of notification services.

The Application does not access your contacts, location, personal messages, or any unrelated files.

Third-Party Access

The Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob may collect certain information (such as device information, advertising ID, usage data) in accordance with its own privacy policy to serve relevant ads.

No other third-party services are integrated into the Application.

Opt-Out and Data Deletion

You may stop all local data storage by uninstalling the Application.
Since all user data is stored locally, removing the app will permanently delete all saved jargon collections.
There is no cloud backup or remote server involved.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for users under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Although no sensitive personal information is collected, users are encouraged to protect their devices (for example, by using screen locks) to ensure their local data remains secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page.
