This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Sutta Brake: Puff Tracker (hereafter referred to as the "Application") developed and published by the Service Provider (Mahesh Venu), as a free app available on Google Play. This service is provided "AS IS".

Information manually entered by users includes:

  • The number of cigarettes smoked per day.

  • The date of smoking activity.

  • The approximate cost per cigarette (used for calculating estimated monthly/total expenditure).

The Application may request certain permissions (explained below) but does not transmit any data to external servers.

Permissions Used

To provide full functionality, the Application requests the following permissions:

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send reminders for entering smoking activity.

  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM / SET_ALARM: To schedule reminders and alarms accurately.

  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To reschedule reminders after device reboot.

  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE: For running background services such as reminders.

  • ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: May be required by some system features or future updates, but the app does not store or transmit location data.

No location data is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Third-Party Access

This Application does not use any third-party services, such as analytics, ads, or crash reporting. Your data remains entirely on your device and is never shared externally.

Opt-Out and Data Deletion

You can stop all data storage by uninstalling the Application. Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app will erase all your information. There is no cloud backup or data recovery provided by the Service Provider.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. No data is knowingly collected from children, and the Service Provider does not target this Application at minors.

Security

While no personal data is collected or transmitted, the Application is designed to operate securely within the device’s ecosystem. Users are encouraged to protect their devices with appropriate security measures (e.g., screen lock) to keep their data private.
